About the Practice

Tom Young Architects are a North London architectural practice with a track record of working with difficult sites in London. We aim to realise the potential of properties by careful design and pragmatic approaches to planning. We have done this on many occasions across the domestic, commercial, and community sectors.

We enjoy working closely with clients in the development of architectural schemes. We are sure that good projects emerge when the main parties to the construction process not only perform well, but also encourage the creativity and skill of all people they are working with.

We work alongside professional engineers, quantity surveyors, and builders who are established in their fields with a strong commitment to quality service.

Our experience is especially rooted in the London Boroughs of Camden, Islington, Hackney, and Havering, encompassing sensitive conservation areas, listed building consents, difficult brownfield plots, and community-led neighbourhood initiatives.
